Lark distillery a family owned business in the heart of Hobart Tasmania. A visit is a must if your ever in hobart, Larks distillery produces its own Single Malt Scotch and and sells it excusivley through their business /supplier contacts and direct from their distillery door.

Lark distillery has its very own Scotch bar where you can put your feet up, after a hard days travelling and enjoy some of their very very own distilled scotch and beer (Hazards Ale) or enjoy many of the other world renowned labels from around the world from the bar average price $8.00 per/shot glass.

The family has built up a proud tradition and enjoy a great reputation throughout Tasmania and the other states as a very fine distillery producing excellent scotch they have a very extensive collection of single malt scotch from all over the world for you to enjoy.

Single malt Scotch is a type of Scotch whisky, distilled by a single distillery, using malted barley as the only grain ingredient. This is in contrast to blended whisky, which consists of a mixture of single malt whiskies and ethanol derived from grains. (A blend using only single malt whiskies is known as vatted malt.) All single malt Scotch must be produced using a pot still, and be distilled, aged and bottled.
